An Attitude of Gratitude

October 5, 2018

A very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!  It is that time of year where we stop for a moment, in the busyness of our lives, to come together with family and friends and give thanks for all that we have!  A season of reflection, where we foster an attitude of gratitude and leave behind any complaints or criticisms we may have.

I remember my father always reminding me to, "Count your blessings D'Anne", whenever I found myself in a funk or in a time of deep frustration.  To pull myself above all that the world throws at me and to really analyze what is most important in life.  As always, the things that are most important to me are my faith, my family, my health and wellness, my sense of community and my integrity.

At Great Beginnings, we just want to take a moment to "Count our blessings." We are very thankful for:

  • All of the families we are privileged to serve
  • All of the children we get to care for every day
  • All of our Staff, Educators, Providers, Volunteers and Students
  • All of our wonderful partnerships we have with other agencies and entities in the community of Windsor-Essex County
  • All the great changes occurring at our agency; new playground, new infant room, new lawn sign, new floors, new paint, new toys, new equipment, new upgrades

We are blessed!  And we are thankful!  Let's continue to foster together an attitude of gratitude each and every day!
